It might not be obvious to everyone, or anyone, but I’m really trying to up my blog game right now. Every blogger goes through phases with their blog and I’m never the exception to any rule. When you love your blog, you really love your blog. You live, breathe and are your blog. Right now, that’s exactly how I’m feeling, so I’m going to ride this high as long as it lasts and set myself a couple of blog-related goals for the month ahead
So here’s three things I want to achieve with my blog this month!
Slowly but surely my social media following is growing, but damn is it taking it’s sweet sweet time. On every platform. Meh, it’ll happen when it happens but I am going to try to make a conscious effort this month to be more active, join in chats again and, fingers crossed, finally hit that 2k mark on Twitter. I would love Bloglovin to hit 500, I’ve seen some growth there over the last week or so which has been nice so long may it continue. While we’re at it, let’s throw out an attempt to get Instagram to 700. Hell, if I could get a couple of pictures to 100 likes I’d be happy.
Oh expectations, I love you low.
Fancy that, wanting to blog on a blog. Go figure eh? I’m aiming for FIVE posts a week folks, five (will make you get down now, baby bring it on, bring it on now!) As I type, I’ve pretty much got the month planned out, with one or two gaps for last minute additions. And, big win for me here, I’m already over a week ahead of myself - so for the first time forever I might actually complete a monthly blogging challenge! Frickin A!
Blogger, it’s been emotional. But I’m finally going to make the switch at some point this month over onto Wordpress. After reading everything Hayley and Corinne have got to say about the wonders of Wordpress, it’s about time I put on my big blog pants and went pro. So yeah, things will hopefully start to look a little different around here at some point this month!
There we have it, typed in e-ink, committed to the interwebs, as close to written in blood as a blogger can get.
If I don’t check back in, let's presume it all when tits up!
How do you do with monthly goal setting?
Until next time,
