Another day, another beauty box subscription being let loose into the world. This is Tili -try it, love it, QVC’s offering to the market and boy is it an offering with a bang! I knew nothing about Tili until I was gifted a box for my birthday from Mr’s mum - and seriously what a fantastic idea! She knows how much I love playing around with new beauty bits, but why buy one thing when you can buy a whole box of goodies and surprises to try out? With it’s pretty packaging and contents that packs a serious punch, Tili could be the box that causes the beauty sub world to up its game or die trying.
Becca backlight priming filter (6ml)
I feel like I’m seeing lovely Becca all over the show of late, so to get my hands on something make me feel very on the bandwagon for a change. The priming filter sounds like one pretty winter-wonderful product, acting as a primer-come-BB-cream, blurring imperfections and giving skin a very soft focus and dewy-not-greasy-spoon look. It's extra light, melts into the skin and gives an all over glow like you’ve just stepped off the ice-rink.
Essie - ballet slippers (full size)
I think I shockingly own a single Essie polish - good job I’m not a full-time beauty blogger, I might lose some points for that confession! Ballet slippers is a beautiful, pearly pink nude. It takes a couple of coats to really take, but the finessed result is so delicate and perfect, I feel like a walking Royal Albert tea set.
Bareminerals skinlogevity (7.5ml)
I’m a huge Bare Minerals fan and have sworn by their make-up for years, but their skincare is something I’ve barely dipped a toe in. The big 3-0 is creeping up and suddenly anti-aging has taken on a whole new meaning. I still get asked for ID whenever I go to stock up my gin supplies, but how long can I really hold on to this collagen plumped youthful skin of mine? This vital power infusion serum is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, preserving skin's youthful glow and giving you a more radiant and resilient complexion - sign me up!
Elemis smart cleanse micellar water (50ml)
Safe to say I love me some Elemis, I just can’t justify the price tag so whenever I get to try out their skincare I jump at the chance. Over the past year, I have fallen head over heels in love with Micellar waters, it’s got so many versatile uses, I find myself reaching for it on a daily basis! Elemis’ offering to the micellar market boasts to remove make-up and detox the skin of the day's impurities and pollutants.
Alpha H Liquid Gold (50ml)
A ha! A cult, back on the bandwagon product that I actually know about - and am a little weary of trying! I’ve heard so many good things about liquid gold but I’ve also heard ten fold about reactions, dry skin, all that jazz…so, caution required!
Vita Liberata tan (25ml) and mitt
I’m not a huge self-tan fan - pale and proud, but with the party season creeping, I might give it a go and see how well I can fake bake! This is an extra light, odourless (win!) tanning mousse that should last through the party season with few top-ups if all goes to plan! Watch this space!
Nexxus nutritive shampoo (89ml) and conditioner (89ml)
I am obsessed with trying new shampoos lately, so this has landed in my hands at the perfect time! Silicone free, this smells like something you’d find in a swanky salon, ready to repair winter troubled tresses! My hair always goes dull and lacklustre over the winter months so let’s see if this can give it some life!
I’ve got to say, as someone who hasn’t had a beauty subscription box in a while, I’m impressed. Aside from the tan, which I might try, it’s been a while, I will use everything in this box - and hopefully find a few new favourites too. This reminds me of how beauty subscription boxes used to be, when you used to actually get excited about what’s in the box and would use up everything inside it, instead of being left to drown in samples with each new boxes arrival. I will defiantly be keeping my eye out for their festive offering this year that’s for sure!
Have you tried Tili?
Until next time,
