October Goals // Life Lately

I know it’s been a little quiet around here lately and I only have myself to blame *bad blogger*. I was super blog-productive pre-holiday a few weeks back but I think I actually relaxed a little too much and I’ve been struggling to get back into the swing of things. Add to that a killer cold that I’m only just getting over and a truck-load of work related stress and there, you have all my excuses.

With that out of the way I figure the only way to get back on track this month is to set myself some goals that all you lovely lot need to make sure I stick to - feel free to get your flogging sticks out for the end of the month when I undoubtedly fail -  but till then, lets get all Friday feelin’ positive and tackle October head on!

Get my blog on!

Minimum three blog posts every week. The plan is eventually to get back to five a week but baby steps!

Facebook!

Do you know I have a Facebook page? You can like it here (go on, you know you want to ;-) ). I’m probably that behind on updating it that I could update nearly every day but I’m aiming for four times a week minimum. I’ve got it - I might as well use it!

Get my guest post on!

The lovely Dee let me guest post for her last month and I loved it. It’s been a while since I out myself out there and wrote for someone else's blog, I always find it a bit nerve wracking but it’s such an amazing way to connect with a new audience. So I’m looking to do at least one guest posts somewhere out in the blogsphere hint hint :-P

Opening the blog doors!

If I’m guest posting out in the blogsphere then it’s only right I open the doors and get some lovely guests posts here as well! I’ve had a few in the past but I always feel so cheeky asking, I don’t know why! So here I am, cordially inviting you to get in touch if you’d like to guest post here in Wonderland!

Hitting the gym!

I was doing pretty well fitness wise pre-holiday but since coming home I’ve been back maybe once or twice? I’m feeling so much better now so I’m ready to go back and get my sweat on! Two - three sessions a week should be easy for me to nail.

This weekend I’m heading to Leeds for the Bloggers Blog Awards and I’m so friggin nervous yet excited. It’s easily the biggest event I’ve been to so far and the list of amazing bloggers who are attending is about as long as my arm! I’m already freaking out about seeing some of these talented ladies and gents in the flesh! Aaargh the nerves! I’m trying to keep in mind my own advice when it comes to attending blogging events but the butterflies are real people! I’ll be lucky if I get any sleep tonight! Thank god there will be gin at the event!

  2. I've totally failed with the gym this year after being so good last year! Two to three sessions a week AND posting three blog posts? You're a superwoman! x

    1. Eeeek superwoman? Come back at the end of the month and see if I actually managed it! It's going to be intense! Hopefully I can earn that cape hehe!
