Having a blog is one of the best excuses to buy all the things. From being inspired by blog posts and bloggers recommendations, to jumping on the bandwagon of the latest cult product, I find myself down the aisles of Boots and Harvey Nicks more often than not, picking up more moisturiser, more shampoo, more hand cream. More More More. I justify about 90% of random purchases by telling myself they’re for the blog; I can haul it, review it, swatch it, pop a picture on Instagram - insta-in the basket.

Yay! You know I'm sure those Soap & Glory goodies actually breed in the beauty drawer, how is it possible we have SO many? lol!

Ooh good luck on this, I did a similar ban a while back and saved so much money! I'm looking forward to seeing what the next challenges are :)

me too, I've got a few ideas and some already planned out so we shall see what challenge comes next! I'm thinking I need some sort of 'challenge' jar!

I think this is a fabulous idea! I actually went (most of) December without buying anything except Christmas gifts and groceries. I didn't buy anything for myself or eat out, except when I was visiting my sister in San Diego (because duh, we had to go out!). It actually wasn't that bad once I got into it. :) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat's brilliant, good to know it can be done! I hope I never have to extend the no-buy to eating out too, I love my food too much!
