Q & A with Saloca #1

We all love to get to know our bloggers a little better, so with that in mind, I've decided to sit down and do a little Q & A session on a Sunday. From now until either I, or you lovely lot, get bored of this, I will be answering questions from this list, as well as any you feel like asking! Go on, it's an excuse to exercise your right to be nosy!

Got a question? Comment down below or tweet me @saloca, or even drop me a line at salocainwonderland[@]gmail.com ((remove the [ ] ))

Let's go!

When was the last time you tried something new?

I always try to try something new when I eat out. I spent years ordering the same thing and have seriously been missing out! The same goes for drinks in bars and skinny jeans. I am constantly trying to push past my comfort zone and try new things. This kind of explains why I decided to do a 200ft abseil a few months back! So, the last new thing I tried?? I tried a doughnut peach - I won't be trying it again! You live and learn!

Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

Would it be weird to say I find myself comparing myself to....myself? Ok, before you think I've completely lost whatever is left of the plot I have, hear me out! I always compare my current self to my past self, because to me, they are two very different people! I always catch myself thinking, 'The old me would never have done this' or, 'The old me would be running a mile away by now', 'The old me would never be signing up for this'. Now, do you get it? Honestly, we probably all do this, but I'd much rather compare myself with myself than compare myself to others, I don't think that's healthy. I did it a lot through my teens and wasted so much time and effort comparing myself to other people, trying to be like them when really, all I ever could be, was me!

What’s the most sensible thing you’ve ever heard someone say?

It doesn't get much more sensible than that!

Until next time,

  1. I think comparing current self to old self is a great way to go! It's like with blogs, I always try to compare my blog to how it was a few months ago rather than other peoples blogs! If you realise how far you've come, you can really get a feel for how far you CAN and WILL go!

    Woo you're awesome!

    1. You're right, when you see what you've achieved, no matter how great or small, it's the best kind of encouragement to do even more!

      WE'RE awesome! BOOM!
