Nike fitness haul
This bank holiday I headed over to Cheshire Oaks Outlet in Ellesmere Port to see if I could bag myself any bargains. For those of you who don’t know, Cheshire Oaks is a huge designer outlet with over 145 designer stores, including Gap, Nike, Michael Kors, Molten Brown, Ugg and Yankee Candle to name but a mere few.
I headed on into the Nike Factory Outlet on the hunt for some proper fitness clothes. Turns out, I own zero actual gym like clothes. I have some loose tops, some tracksuit bottoms but nothing that’s specifically designed for fitness. If I’m going to get serious about working out then it’s about time I invested in some slightly more appropriate gear!
Nike Running Dri-Fit tops £13/£18 (outlet prices)
I’m not a big fan of skin tight tops when I’m working out and I feel ridiculously self conscious in vest tops so I went for a full tee style. From the Nike running range, they’re made from 50% recycled polyester, designed for superior athletic performance (I might be pushing myself a bit there!) with a lower environmental impact. Save the planet guys! The Dri-fit technology was one of the main reasons I went for this style, it’s supposed to pull away sweat, keeping you dry and comfortable as you work out. Sounds perfect for a high impact cardio workout! I went for the pink/purple tee (£13) and a beautiful sky blue (£18). I’ usually a UK 8-10 so I picked up a size S which fits perfectly, not too fitted but not flapping about all over the place, it’s tapered giving it a feminine shape and is a perfect length.
Nike Tight Fit Dri-Fit bottoms £26/£30 (outlet prices)
These fit like a second skin! I couldn’t believe I actually opted for the tight fit pants but the cut and seams actually make them really flattering and I don’t feel conscious in them at all. Though they’re a tight fit they don’t feel tight or restricting at all…I should know, I bounced all over the changing room bending this way and that (the things we do behind closed doors!). I opted for the black, they go with any colour top and I can get away with outrageously colored underwear, I’ve got to think about these kinds of things!
I picked up a full length pair (£30) and a ¾ length pair (£26).
How are you keeping fit these days? Picked up any new gear? Let me know in the comments below!
Until next time,

They're going out for their official test drive at a high impact cardio class tomorrow night! I love how comfortable they are, it's about as close as you can get to working out and feeling as though you have no clothes on!

Nike has some gorgeous clothes and you need to be comfortable when out running or at the gym - if it keeps you comfortable then you're workout is better which makes you feel better! :)
