October 2013 - Favourites

It’s that time again! Lets get straight to it!

Lush – Helping Hands

I go this in a birthday bag of goodies off a lovely friend who knows my poor little hands have been suffering of late. Working in a lab, I’m washing my hands constantly and they’ve become so dry and sore. She spotted Helping Hands and was immediately sold when she read it was designed with nurses in mind. It specifically designed for those who wash their hands a lot, made with almond, cocoa butter and chamomile, it smells amazing and my hands have been in awesome shape since I started using this at the beginning of the month!

Lush – Snow Fairy

Another birthday treat, this is probably my most favourite shower gel in the ENTIRE WORLD! They release this beauty every year for Christmas, and then it vanishes come New Year (so I always stock up in the sales!). It smells like candy floss and has just a touch of festive sparkle. It’s getting me in the mood for Christmas!

Sleek – Rose Gold

Another birthday treat (can you see a theme here?) from the beautiful Ginger of Just Add Ginger (go over and say hi!). I’ve been eyeing this up for a while and after reading a few reviews online and seeing how similar it is to Benefits Rockateur but at a much more affordable price I just had to have it! It’s such a pretty flushed pink colour perfect for autumn with so much shimmer! A little goes a long way!

Dermalogica - Oily Skin Starter Kit

I was eyeing this up a few weeks a go and my wonderful friend seen how excited I was about it so bought it for me for my birthday – yay! I’ve been wanting to jump into Dermalogica for a while now and this was the perfect opportunity to trial out several travel sized products and see what happens. All I will say is I’m in love with some of the products in this kit and there will be an in depth review coming soon!

Laura Mercier Primer

One of the best products in Octobers Birchbox, this stuff is fantastic. It works perfectly with my oily skin and mineral make up, better than my Bare Minerals oil control prime time primer. It really helps to give a smooth, flawless application and my skin hasn’t had any adverse reactions either, hurrah!

Almonds

One word – obsessed! I’ve been knocking back a handful of these every afternoon pretty much all month! They’re packed with vitamin E, making them awesome for your skin and taste amazing. I’ve been trying to be a little healthier in work and packing a pack of almonds has stopped me from raiding the vending machine…most days!

Oral B Electric Toothbrush – Limited Edition

A birthday present off my parents, I’ve been wanting one for ages and ages! My teeth feel amazing after using this, that same ‘super clean’ feeling you get after going for a check up and polish at the dentist!

What have you been loving this month?
