Let me start this by saying - I hate running but I love doing something for charity, so when I walked into work this morning and came face to face with a sign up sheet for the 2013 Santa Dash in Liverpool...there was only one thing to do...

Will I be a RED Santa or a BLUE Santa?

What is the Santa Dash?

The Santa Dash is a 5k fun run through Liverpool, Mann Island to Dale Street, on December 1st. Santas from across the city come together and really kick off Christmas in a way on Liverpool knowns ho ho how to do! Last year the Santa Dash helped to raised almost £5,000,000 for the Text Santa campaign! 2013 will be the races 10th anniversary!

I've seen those suited up runners through town every year, santas on every corner, in coffee shops and spilling out of public transport but never actually thought to take part myself. For years I took up the local Race for Life 5k and loved every single one of them. The atmosphere at these types of events is electric, I mean c'mon, it's got to be something special if I will actually run for it haha!
