Whats on your Disney bucket list?

Having travelled to Walt Disney World for the last 10 years, I am still amazed that each trip brings new experiences, things we have never seen or never done before. Walt Disney World is constantly evolving, and going back after a ride refurbishment, the opening of a new restaurant or the expansion of a park will always put something new on your itinerary. Yet, it is the things that have been a staple in the parks and resorts that I’m talking about here. Things that have been around for years, possible even since park opening, that I have still not had much or any interaction with. It could be that our party of fussy eaters will never touch a menu that doesn’t have some variation of chicken strips and fries, or that I’ve been too tongue tied terrified to throw myself off the edge of Summit Plummet. Or maybe, we just ran out of time. The idea of a bucket list is the things you want to do whilst you still have time to do them. So of course, I had to Disney-fy a bucket list!

When putting together our trips, we always try to include as many new things as possible, and so far, we have never struggled to find new additions or ideas. With our next trip planned for September 2012, I think it’s time to pull out the old ‘Disney Bucket List’ and see what adventures we can add!

I’ve been keeping a Disney Bucket List since our first trip to Disneyland Paris back in 1999, a list of things I never got to do and want to do if I get the chance to go back. Granted, my Disneyland Paris list has come up extremely short over the years; my Walt Disney World list has never stopped growing! I have managed to zip-a-dee-doo-dah my way through much of the list, but, for every item I check off, at least three or more get added on! This is what makes every trip to WDW fresh and exciting, as well as mixing in some of our old favourites and traditions. :-)

Here are just a few things off the list that are more do-able which I hope to check off on my next trip!

Play a round at Fantasia Gardens!

Take a trip on Characters in Flight!

Survive Summit Plummet!

Attempt the Kitchen Sink at Beaches an Cream!

Try funnel cake!

How many of the above have you already checked off? What’s on your Disney bucket list?

Sarah
